About Aqara
Aqara is the smart home brand of Lumi United Technology, a Shenzhen company founded in 2009. It started with Zigbee door, motion and temperature sensors, and now also makes switches, plugs, locks and its own hubs. Most of its range uses Zigbee, and newer devices add Thread and Matter, which is why Aqara products turn up on almost every hub on this site.
